Yossarian has ventured into the uncertain world of collaboration! Soon he will be releasing a joint record with his good friend The Black Maria Memorial Fund called Counting The Moon. It's a 12" slab of vinyl ensheathed in a luscious handmade blue velvet sleeve: a truly desirable object.
The record will be available from this site soon, but in the meantime make your way to the live page for details of a so-called 'promotional tour'. Advance copies will be available at all three gigs (assuming we don't sell out at the first or second).

Keyboard Rebel's long awaited debut album explodes Monday 13th October 2008.

At around five years, the gestation was unusually protracted. But the delivery was surprisingly painless. And now it's here! Now, let's just check: ten fingers... ten toes... beautiful straight black hair... oh my God! What are these weird symmetrical bony protuberances on the skull?! Could they be? No, they can't be... little pointy horns?! What have we created? What kind of monster have we brought into the world? Quick, dash out its brains!
Er, yeah. As you probably couldn't tell from all that, Yossarian's debut album is now out! And it's free! Just send your address to yossarian@slicknine.com and we'll post you a copy. All we ask is that you listen.

'Northern Sherpa', the eagerly awaited debut single from Keyboard Rebelwill be released on Monday 5th September 2005, on 7" vinyl and CD.
The CD version features the exclusive Northern Sherpa video by LizPlatt, plus photo portraits of the band by Michelle Adhemar.

Keyboard Mike andLightnin'Rod Jackson are going on tour playing with the John Stammersband supporting Alfie around the country this month - see Gardensticks for details.
Also, Keyboard Rebel have a gorgeous music video back for their'Northern Sherpa' single, courtesy of Liz Platt. The video will featureas a bonus on the CD version of the single. As a result, the releasedate has been slightly delayed: expect to see CD and 7" versions inshops late summer.

After the runaway success of'Bootylicious' and 'Ghost Lady', Keyboard Rebel are set to serve uptheir first 7" single in June 2005, entitled 'Northern Sherpa'. Thesingle is released on Slick Nine Records and is backed by new song 'Ifeel trapped', with artwork from the highly excellent Bea Turner.

News for 2005: Slick Nine areback for more after the hearty response to last year's 'Slick NineRecords presents' EP, with Keyboard Rebel lining up a new 7" single forearly May/June 2005, and a new SN band joining the fold in the form ofthe beautifully named Bedford Rascals.
Further news sees label stalwarts Lightin' Rod Jackson and KeyboardMike guest appearing on trumpet and flute respectively on the excellentJohn Stammers single, 'Lonely Bird', due outlater in 2005.
